Here is a small sampling of artwork showcasing whimsical and weird subjects done with traditional watercolor and gouache paintings to ceramics. I switch between mediums and styles, but you can often see influences from Japanese and Asian culture and various folklore. 

Projects rarely begin with a fully formed vision in mind. Often I make decisions in the moment and let the energy of the piece guide me. Each work takes me on a journey that has a sense of play and curiosity that breaks the rigidity of adulthood - a feeling I hope to share with those who enjoy my art.

More recently, I have been inspired by childhood memories - from juice boxes and imaginary friends to memories catching snowflakes on my tongue. When someone connects with me through my art, it is such a precious moment. It feels like the Cosmos have aligned for two strangers to become friends.
